Lead Coordinator – Wedding Planner
Kristina joined the Melanie Parent Events team in 2015 after approaching Melanie with the desire to be a part of the wedding industry. Kristina has been working in the customer service industry for over 10 years and has studied Marketing, Project Management and Event Management at Red River College.
Since day one, Kristina has brought her organizational skills, problem solving and a friendly personality to the team. Kristina has grown over the years into her role as Lead Coordinator and is instrumental to every events success.

We love everything about the event and wedding planning process; and we aren’t afraid of the work that comes along with it. With our industry knowledge and expertise, we can make sure you enjoy the planning experience and create an event that you and your guest will never forget.
2. We take on a limited number of events:
At Melanie Parent Events we value our client and vendor relationships. For that reason we only accept a limited number of events and weddings each year. We believe that you deserve personal and undivided attention. For this exact reason, we never over extend ourselves.
3. You need help figuring out the budget
The budget is a stressful topic with most couples. Allow us to help with budget allocation. As professionals we can ensure you spend it in the places that get you the most bang for your buck. We hire vendors all the time, so we know where the deals are and what things really cost.
4. You need help to recreate your vision
I’m sure you’ve been on Pinterest and have found a lot of inspiration. So much so, that your now overwhelmed and confused by what you think you want. As your wedding planner we want to get to know YOU, and make sure your wedding reflects your personality and personal style.
4. Knowledge is power
Because we’ve gone through this process before, Melanie Parent Events has the vendor relationships to make sure your working with the right people. We will make recommendations based on your budget and expectations.
5. You aren’t “all about the details”
When planning a wedding it’s all in the details. If creating lists’, organizing meetings and returning countless phone calls and emails doesn’t appeal to you, hire a planner. As planners we create personalized checklists to ensure everything is covered.
6.The average wedding takes a couple 250 hours to plan
