I am not even sure where to begin when it comes to Laura and Neil’s wedding. First off, these two were made for each other! Honestly, these two are #couplegoals! When we met they already had a vision in mind and wanted a rustic wedding location in Winnipeg. The obvious choice: The Rustic Wedding Barn only a short drive outside the city. This venue truly captured the look and feel these two wanted.

We decided to have Laura and Neil’s wedding in the hay shed… It might not sound dreamy but it’s a gorgeous space. We had beautiful draping framing the couple and greenery hanging from the open rafters. Academy Florist created two stunning arrangements that sat on wood stumps next to the couple. It kept with the rustic theme and added some romantic softness to the space.

The reception took place in the barn loft with chandeliers and twinkle lights overhead. We had harvest wood tables, greenery, and garland for the head table. With homemade jam wedding favours, menus at each seat and custom table numbers, all these little details made the space look extra special.

Choosing a venue that allowed them to bring in all outside vendors was also a plus for them! We had the opportunity to work with one of the best catering teams in the city, Urban Prairie Cuisine. They created a custom menu that was served family style to the guests. We brought in an amazing dessert bar and had a live band. The band was the icing on the cake, they kept the party going all night.

Neil and I really can’t find the words to express our gratitude for your hard work, organization and how you made us feel throughout the planning and of course on our dreamy day. We couldn’t have had the perfect day we did without you. Thank you for getting to know us and our vision. You are unbelievably amazing at what you do. We loved working with you and hope our paths cross again in the Future. Laura
