Owner – Lead Planner – WPIC

Melanie Parent Events launched in 2015 and has since executed over 100 weddings and events. Melanie is a certified Wedding Planner through the Wedding Planners Institute of Canada (WPIC). In addition to her certification, she has been part of the hospitality industry for close to 10 years.

Melanie is also an educator and part owner of Engaged Winnipeg offering education and inspiration to forward thinking couples. 

Avid traveler, wine lover and forever a hopeless romantic, Melanie was made to be a part of the wedding industry. Her team is well respected in the industry and continuously learning and growing to provide you with an exceptional experience.

Kristina

Associate Planner- Lead Coordinator

Kristina joined the Melanie Parent Events team in 2015 and was a part of the first wedding ever executed by MPE. Kristina has been working in the customer service industry for over 10 years and has studied Marketing, Project Management, and Event Management at Red River College.

Since day one, she has brought her organizational skills, problem-solving techniques and a friendly personality to the team. As Associate Planner, Kristina has seen it all. She understands the time, money and effort that goes into each event and takes pride in giving every couple an exceptional experience.
