Bright & Airy Gates Wedding

When the Covid restrictions changed Ashley & Brenden couldn’t fathom not having all 230 guests present for their big day. They decided to postpone and pushing it back a year was an easy decision for them! They were full planning clients of ours so they got to sit back while we handled the tough stuff! Finally, the big day came and they had a bright & airy gates wedding that they had always dreamed of!

We really took a gamble on deciding to keep the ceremony outside on this cloudy day but the weather held out for us! Turning out to be a beautiful sunny day. Mission accomplished, we had the gorgeous outdoor ceremony we’ve been dreaming of for almost 2 years! We also included a beautiful memorial chair for Ashley’s dad that included his photo and his jacket so that he could be there from heaven.

Ashley & Brenden were high school sweethearts. They included a photo table during their cocktail hour with photos from throughout their entire relationship! So sweet to see them so in love from such a young age, but when you know you know.

Brenden is also a car enthusiast who not only races but owns his own race car! We had to include it in his day, so we had a reserved parking spot for his race car on the way into the wedding so everyone could see the beauty of it.

We created a progressive party for their day which started with the ceremony on the lawn, cocktail hour on the deck, and finally reception in the Grand Ballroom! We went with neutral tones and soft pinks to really give that bright & airy feel.

These two were truly the sweetest couple! They were both so kind and it was wonderful to work with them! When they cried tears of joy seeing the ballroom for the first time I knew we knocked it out of the park! Good job team!
