A Winnipeg museum wedding

I don’t even know where to begin with these two! Cassandra and Walt, were a dream to work with. We spent over a year planning a memorable wedding weekend none of their guests would forget! From a formal rehearsal dinner to the wedding day and a “day after party”…. we pulled out all the stops.

After spending the morning with their respective parties, Cassandra and Walt opted for a first look in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights top floor. This gorgeous spot overlooks the city and was the perfect spot for these two to see each other for the first time.

We had their ceremony on-site in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights garden of contemplation. This modern space was the perfect location. We had white pillars with floral arrangements and lanterns lining the aisle with a gorgeous arch draped in fabric. We kept it clean and timeless.

When it came to the reception we spared no detail! We made sure everything was fit for a king and queen! And that all started with an incredible head table design. We decided to carry the matching ceremony backdrop to the head table and added gorgeous chandeliers. We opted for thrown chairs….cause why not?! With flowers lining the front of the table, a custom monogram dance floor and gorgeous uplighting throughout, it was truly spectacular.

Although the head table was our main focus, we still made sure that the guest’s tables, bar and lounge area looked just as stunning. We opted for white speciality bars and carried over the custom monogram to match the dance floor. For the lounge area, we wanted to create a more relaxed and quiet atmosphere for guests to gather, sit back and enjoy a cocktail.

This wedding was a show stopper and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome for Cassandra and Walt. They deserved the perfect day… and thanks to our planning skills and vendor team we delivered!
