A Cocktail-Style Wedding at Gusto North

When creating an elegant, elevated, and classy wedding that also promises a great party, few themes fit the bill as perfectly as a cocktail-style wedding at Gusto North. We recently had the pleasure of planning a stunning wedding for Megan and Scott at Gusto North. A venue that perfectly captured the sophisticated aesthetic the couple envisioned for their big day.

Gusto North provided the ideal backdrop for this chic celebration. With its modern design and versatile spaces, it was the perfect fit for the couple’s vision. One of the most memorable moments of the wedding ceremony was the opportunity to enjoy the cool April weather on the patio, which added a refreshing and serene touch to the event.

We incorporated custom decals of the couple’s parents’ wedding photos to give the wedding a personal and vintage feel. This homage to family history added a unique and sentimental element to the decor. The bride’s style was reflected in her custom-made wedding dress by local Winnipeg designer Cathy Wiebe, who also designed Megan’s after-party dress. This personal touch made the bride look stunning!

The culinary experience was a highlight of the evening. Guests were treated to a variety of delicious appetizers and a pasta wheel station that quickly became a crowd favourite. For the late-night snack, we served signature pizzas, ensuring that everyone was well-fed and ready to continue the festivities.

As their wedding planner, I handled all logistics, hired the vendors, and managed the timeline and on site coordination. This allowed the couple to relax and enjoy their day without worrying about the details. It’s important to note that having a planner doesn’t mean relinquishing control; rather, we complement and guide you through the process, ensuring your vision comes to life seamlessly. Incorporating a wedding planner into your big day can make a world of difference. Even with a planner, you remain an integral part of the planning process. Our goal is to enhance and execute your vision, allowing you to fully enjoy one of the most important days of your life.
