We had the pleasure of working with Princess Auto to help them celebrate their 90th anniversary! This was one of our favourite corporate events from last year, and it really showcased how using trusted professional vendors can get everything executed flawlessly on such tight timelines. When we first met with Princess Auto, they had just had the venue selected, and we had three months to select the remaining vendor team and get all the little details finalized for an event with nearly 700 guests in attendance!!!! This was something only a true professional could handle, and we were up for the challenge. They wanted an elegant, elevated, and good party atmosphere, and we delivered on each of these asks!
The main focus of this event was the past, present, and future of Princess Auto. We had multiple different elements throughout the event that showcased this. When guests first walked into the space, we had a champagne wall that featured Princess Auto memorabilia scattered throughout the shelving. We also had a timeline history of Princess Auto throughout the years in between the shelves. One of our favourite parts of the design was the bars. Each bar had a custom design that featured the Princess Auto logo throughout the years. This was one of the main focal points for the design.
The formal program for the event paid homage to the history of Princess Auto. They created slideshows and videos that not only celebrated all they had accomplished but also showcased how great their employees are. After completing the formal program, we kickstarted the party with an amazing live band. They kept everyone dancing throughout the night. People who weren’t dancing hung out in one of the two lounge areas we created. We had 10-foot tall olive trees as the lounges’ main focal point, which really helped make them feel more elevated. Another fun element that we had was the “Living Wall”. This was an interactive element: guests walked up to the wall, rang a bell, and were given either dancing props, snack foods, or Princess Auto swag. It really kept guests entertained and always guessing what they would get!
