2019 Wedding Inspiration
We LOVE collaborating with local vendors and that’s why we take any opportunity we can to plan styled shoots. This shoot was above and beyond in so many ways! The vision we had turned out better than I could have hoped for thanks to our amazing team of vendors.
When we started designing this tablescape we had no idea it would take on a life of it’s own. The entire concept stemmed from the blue accent linen we hand dyed. It was a colour we fell in love with and knew we wanted to incorporate as many blue tones as possible. We wanted the blue tones to come in a variety of shades to add more depth and personality without being too “matchy”.
We wanted the flowers to pop, which is why we had the main large piece flanked with two smaller arrangements, keeping the table full and lush. We made sure to incorporate the blue tones all throughout, from the balloons, to the glassware, all the way through to the candles and desserts.
We wanted to keep the look clean while still having larger focal elements . This is why we chose to incorporate the balloon arch and carry it over to the table design with the rings hanging overhead. We felt the balloons tied both spaces together and created a more cohesive feel. It also drew the eye up and filled the space nicely over the table.
