A moody lakefront wedding
I had been dreaming about this moody lakefront wedding for months and months…. and finally, we had the opportunity to execute it! This wedding was just another example of why you need professional vendors on your side. We had to change, pivot, and re-design on a few occasions, but the final destination was worth the journey! We ended up with an intimate wedding for 6. This small gathering allowed us to incorporate big elements and truly elevate the guest experience.
Kathryn and Brandon found the perfect location for this moody lakefront wedding. This cabin was exactly what we wanted, and the dock was just the right spot to host a ceremony. We had a stunning arch, layered rugs and lanterns to complete the look. The gorgeous lake backdrop was just the icing on the cake of an already perfect design.
The wedding might have been small, but the details we incorporated were huge! We had lounge furniture, tons of great stationery details, flowers galore and an incredible dining experience under the twinkle lights.
For the dining experience, we decided to incorporate a twinkle light canopy over the table to add to the ambiance. This glowing table looked incredible once the sun went down. We had bold colours with rust orange and black details. Guests enjoyed a beautiful steak dinner and delicious desserts. It was truly better than we imagined.
