Dreamy Manitoba Private Property Wedding

Elizabeth and Kevin were clients who were set to get married during the Covid pandemic. They had a venue picked out, but due to the restrictions, they had to change the plans completely and that is when we really took over (and it almost became a Full Plan because we only had a few short weeks to start from scratch) and re-arranged everything from start to finish for them! We moved their wedding to their parent’s home for a Manitoba private property wedding with a reduced guest list and we made sure it was still dreamy and as wonderful as ever!

Guests were greeted by beautiful custom signage and a champagne cart to get things started! We held a gorgeous ceremony on their sunken patio in the backyard. It was half seated, half standing with some guests overlooking the sunken patio for a truly unique view of their beautiful outdoor ceremony. Big City All Star Band provided live music for both the ceremony and dance party portion of the evening.

Cocktail hour was also held outside in the backyard and patio. There was a variety of passed appetizers for guests to enjoy and a beautiful “Bubbles and Buds” display for guests to help themselves to champagne or beer! We then had guests transition inside for a cocktail-style reception.

We had movers come into their home and remove all of their furniture and brought in rented cocktail tables and low seating for guests to be able to mix and mingle. The formal portion of the reception was held inside on the main floor of the home.

Guests then made their way downstairs for the party portion of the evening, where they could hit the dance floor. They were able to party both indoors and out as they had access to the sunken patio from there so they could enjoy the fresh air well into the night! We had a twinkle light canopy set up over the dance floor and the band to create a truly unique ambiance!

Creating a dreamy wedding on a private property can take a lot of logistical planning, but it is always so amazing to see the full transformation!
