Marsala: Pantone coulour
of the year 2015

As 2015 comes to end we still aren’t ready to say goodbye to Marsala, Pantone’s 2015 colour of the year. We want our brides to embrace these final months and use Marsala rich vibe to the fullest! This colour has been described as sophisticated, bold, full bodied and not for the faint of heart. Be prepared to be blown away by the colour of the year and the ways it was utilized during the 2015 wedding season.
Enjoy this feast for the eyes as we pay tribute to Marsala!
Let’s start the journey with stationery. It’s no secret that the invitation sets the tone and gives your guests a feel for the overall event. Why not make them feel rich and bold by using Marsala… Here are some invitations that we came across this past year:
Now, we all know that as the bride, all eyes are on you, but if you’re willing to share the spotlight here is one way to do it: dress your man in a custom coloured suit. No one will be expecting it, but we know they’re gonna love it!
These beautiful bridesmaids probably would of looked just as gorgeous wearing paper bags, but adding this irresistible colour to the mix was a great choice. We love when brides go bold and fashionably daring with their entourage. Why not, girls just want to have fun, right?
With this colour running the show in 2015, we can only imagine what next year will bring. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for us. We love the fierce vibe Marsala has brought to the table. Will 2016 be equally as daring or will they move to a more softer side of things? I guess only time will tell, Pantone will make it’s “Colour of the Year” announcement in December. So stay tuned because we will be blogging about it!
