Moody Romantic Wedding at The Kings Head Pub
Victoria & Riel were style and design clients who wanted a romantic, moody wedding at The Kings Head Pub and we were up for the challenge! This fall wedding was one we will never forget. We completely transformed one of our favourite spaces into a moody and romantic reception.
The ceremony was held at the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, which always brings such a magical feel with all of the beautiful greenery. The groom had a stunning hunter-green suit which fit right in with their moody vibes and it is always so nice to see a unique pop of colour! We also had jewel tones for all of the florals and bridesmaid attire to really bring the colour palette together.
We created a nice mix of bright and airy with the outdoor ceremony and dark and moody at their reception at The Kings Head Pub. We took your favourite laid-back neighborhood bar and completely transformed it into a romantic, moody wedding reception space. It was hardly recognizable as your same Sunday night hang out spot! The vibe was romantic but still edgy.
There were velvet linens, gold accents, and TONS of candles to set the mood. We had a black backdrop for their head table. We added a disco ball to the dance floor… because who doesn’t love a disco ball! We also created a lounge area with a beautiful couch and custom neon sign, which doubled as a cool selfie station for all of the guests to enjoy.
