The ultimate party at Starlit Point
Alanna & Vladi wanted the ultimate party at Starlit Point for their wedding and boy did we make sure it happened. We had three priorities when planning with this couple:
Priority #1 = party
Priority #2 = party
Priority #3 = party
and so forth…. The party atmosphere was what it was all about and we made sure it did not disappoint! They were Style & Design clients of ours so while we focused on the party, we also got to focus on the overall aesthetics of their big day! It turned out to be a perfect day out at Starlit Point, the sun was shining, the decor was on point and guests were in for a good time!
The groom is Russian and Jewish so we were sure to include elements of his heritage in their big day, including the Jewish tradition of breaking glass during their ceremony. Something about this tradition is so exciting to watch. The cheers that come afterward always make us smile.
As an added guest experience and a keepsake the couple will cherish forever, they had a photo guest book! We placed polaroid cameras with markers and decorative tape so that guests could include a photo of themselves and write a little something to the couple! It’s like a scrapbook of your wedding and sooo fun for your guests to do!
To include elements of Vladi’s Russian heritage they had a traditional Russian vodka bar which was such a fun guest experience….until the following day that is, haha! There were 6 different types of vodka so there were plenty of options to choose from! The Russians believe vodka must be drunk neat and as a shot and food must always accompany it! Traditionally the food is similar to the idea of tapas and it is called zakuski and it included mostly pickled items like asparagus, beans, pickles, onions and more.
We had some beautiful yet simple details on the table with a pink and white colour scheme with gold accents. The white flowers with all of the greenery really just popped. They had a beautiful backdrop with the just married neon sign behind the head table as a focal point!
Once it was time for the reception, we knew it was really time to party. We kicked things off with a grand entrance and the couple entered the reception with bottles of champagne so you could tell what we were in for!
We started the night’s dancing portion with the Hora, which is always so fun to experience! Between this and the vodka bar we had some seriously great elements of the party! In typical party fashion, guests were dancing on the tables by the end of the night!
This was an extremely fun wedding to attend and plan, and this couple really was the life of the party! We would love to bring your party vision to life as well, reach out to us here!
