A greenery filled Starlit Point wedding
When Julie and David approached us they had no concrete plans or specific ideas, but they did know the guest’s experience was the number one priority. Since they both worked demanding jobs and didn’t want to have to take the lead on the planning, they decided to hire us for Full Planning and allow us to take the reins.
After choosing Holy Rosary Church as the perfect ceremony space, we went on and booked this summer wedding at Starlit Point. It was the perfect mix of the outdoors with still enough glamour to fit the overall vibe.
We focused our design on complimenting the space that was already there. We took advantage of the gorgeous harvest tables and wood cross back chairs and went with clean white dishes, and candles. Our pop of colour came from the greenery clouds we had hanging above head throughout the entire tent.
From there, we focused our attention on the guests’ experience. We had an incredible champagne wall that served as the seating chart. Which served a dual purpose as it turned into a candy wall later in the evening… because why not. For cocktail hour we brought in a speciality mobile bar to serve craft cocktails and had a huge spread of appetizers for guests to enjoy.
For the party portion of the night, we hired Big City All Star Band. This 8 piece group had everyone dancing all night long. We only took a short break to watch an incredible firework show and enjoy some late night snacks. It was certainly a party to remember and we accomplished the ultimate guest experience for all who attended. This summer wedding at Starlit Point will be tough to beat.
