moody candlelit wedding at The Gates on Roblin
The Gates on Roblin was the perfect backdrop for Sarah and Alex’s moody candlelit wedding. These two went above and beyond when it came to creating the perfect guest experience. From the unique ceremony space to the evening entertainment, guests were continuously wowed by what we had in store for them.
We started the day with a gorgeous ceremony at the Canadian Mennonite University. The space was perfectly decorated with a faux fur area rug and gorgeous arch framing the alter. We flanked both sides of the couple with oversized vases flowing over with a stunning arrangement created by our friend Britney from Fache Floral Designs.
Once the ceremony ended, guests made their way to the The Gates for cocktails and reception. Guests we’re absolutely blown away when they entered the space! The lighting was dim and accented by candles and the perfect ambient uplighting and marquee LOVE sign drawing the eyes to the head table.
The night was full of surprises for the guests with a salsa performance and wedding party choreographed dances! We also sent off Chinese lanterns to wish the couple good fortune to wrap up an already perfect evening.
