Wedding at Manitoba Hydro
Fall weddings make for the best weddings! You get to use a moodier colour palette and get gorgeous outdoor photos without the summer heat! This wedding at The Manitoba Hydro Building encompassed all of this! From the decor and room design to the colour palette and overall aesthetics…. Every detail was accounted for!! Kristina, the Lead Coordinator for Melanie Parent Events went above and beyond to ensure Deanna and Chris’ vision was perfectly executed…And it was all captured by one of my favourite photographers Xandra Photography. Speaking of the perfect fall colour palettes, Deanna and Chris chose the perfect colour combinations when it came to flowers, bridal party wear and room decor. Everything played off each other so well, without being too “matchy-matchy”. But with subtle pops of colour, this wedding party looks on point! I’m obsessed with mix and match dress colours, style and textures. Deanna decided to throw caution to the wind and went for it by choosing all of the above and letting her girls express their vibe through their attire. It couldn’t have turned out any better!
When it came to the layout and design of the room Deanna and Chris didn’t want a traditional layout. They opted for a mix of harvest tables and rounds with just a sweetheart table for themselves. They still wanted the wedding party nearby so the guys and girls each sat together at the front two round tables to be near to the couple.
We kept the room bright and airy with white table clothes to compliment the modern vibe of the venue. We added the colour and dimension through the flowers, cutlery, Chiavari chairs and wedding favours. All these small touches combined, created the perfect contrast and colour.
