Have you ever thought about having a wedding at the Manitoba Museum? It might just be the new hotspot for wedding venues! Vanessa and Casey got married in this unique space, and it was a truly unforgettable day.
Planning a luxurious wedding for 320 people is no easy feat, but they made it so worthwhile! They were Full Planning clients and gave us full creative control for their special day. From creating the design to communicating with their vendors and managing the budget, we loved working with these two every step of the way. They entrusted us with elevating their wedding vision and bringing their dream wedding design to life – with a two-day setup; we were able to meticulously attend to every detail, ensuring we did just that.
The Manitoba Museum is the perfect venue for an elegant event. Its spacious layout was easily transformed into a breathtaking space. Silk flowers were in full bloom in every area of the venue, most notably at the sweetheart table. Floral arrangements adorned the bottom of the sweetheart table alongside many candles that created a romantic ambiance for the space. A striking 8-foot floral centerpiece hung above the table, creating a grand focal point that drew the eye of their guests. The bar area was equally impressive, with a stand-out bar, stunning overhead chandeliers, and captivating lighting.
Their colour palette was a stunning combination of black and white, with soft blush and cream accents. This classic colour scheme provided a luxurious feel to the day. The dramatic contrast between the dark and light tones created a sense of elegance and sophistication.
To elevate the overall aesthetic, we incorporated custom stationery with bows – a trend that we are absolutely loving this year!
The couple’s wedding cake, a stunning creation by Jenna Rae Cakes, was a showstopper. It was a four-tiered floating cake that looked as incredible as it tasted.
A key aspect of their wedding was the focus on guest experience. Vanessa and Casey wanted their guests to feel special and luxurious, so we carefully curated every detail to ensure that each guest felt just as they wished.
Their grand entrance was a spectacle in the best way possible. The dance floor was brought to life with lighting and projections, adding texture and a touch of magic to the evening.
I can’t wait to plan another wedding at the Manitoba Museum and see how we can transform the space into something different. If you are interested in having your wedding at the Manitoba Museum, reach out to us and let us help you plan your dream day!
