Wedding DIY done right
at Cielo’s Garden
Sometimes even I’m surprised at how beautifully a wedding comes together! Heather and Jeremy took the lead on the design and went full on wedding DIY. As a planner, I don’t normally recommend putting all that pressure on yourselves so close to the wedding, but these two had it under control…. and the outcome was AH-MAZING. These two are known by family and friends as handy and crafty do it “yourself-ers”, so they knew to expect a few personal touches throughout. But this Cielo’s brunch wedding was more than even the guests imagined.
The first DIY wedding sign of the day was this beautiful sign located outside the chapel. This set the tone to ensure guests were present and in the moment. Once inside we had the perfect minimalist setup done by Academy Florist.
Immediately following the ceremony, guests were lead to the garden patio where they could enjoy coffee, donuts and play lawn games. It was the perfect way to kick off the morning before speeches and brunch! Guests were wowed by the details created by the couple. From the custom magnet seating chart, DIY photo booth, to the hand made centrepieces. It’s something you need to see to believe.
