Planning a wedding from another country can feel overwhelming, but that’s exactly where our Full Planning service shines. This beautiful Winnipeg Art Gallery wedding was planned for a couple who had relocated to Seattle but always envisioned celebrating their wedding day back home in Winnipeg. They needed someone they could trust to be their eyes and ears throughout the entire planning process, allowing them to enjoy their engagement from afar.
From the very beginning, we managed every aspect of the celebration. We sourced the perfect venue, developed the overall design concept, recommended and secured the ideal vendor team, attended meetings on their behalf, and guided every decision from Winnipeg while they remained in Seattle. Our goal was to make long-distance planning feel effortless through clear communication, expert guidance, and trusted local relationships.
The design embraced a light, bright, and airy aesthetic with soft pastel tones of peach, blush pink, and buttery yellow. While these colours were a departure from many of our previous weddings, they perfectly reflected the couple’s personalities and created a fresh, romantic atmosphere.
The day began with a first look and portraits throughout the beautiful gardens of Assiniboine Park before guests gathered for a rooftop ceremony at the Winnipeg Art Gallery. A stunning floral arch framed the ceremony and became one of the day’s most memorable focal points. Guests then moved into the Skylight Gallery for cocktails, where a personalized seating chart greeted them with handwritten notes from the couple, creating a meaningful and unexpected experience.
One of our favourite design elements was intentionally repurposing décor throughout the day. The ceremony arch was transformed into the backdrop for the sweetheart table, enhanced with additional candles and florals. Inside the reception, a thoughtful mix of harvest tables and round tables added dimension and visual interest while complementing the soft colour palette.
