A Romantic Covid Wedding
Well, it’s not every day that we face a pandemic and plan a Covid wedding, but if you can get through a pandemic you can get through anything. Deborah and Dan are no exception. These two planned, and re-planned their dream day many times. We were by their side through all of it to help guide and support them through the ups and downs of a Covid wedding. But long story short, we pivoted and made the most of the restrictions and had the most memorable 10 person wedding I ever did see!
After some stunning photos at the Cathedral, we headed to one of their favourite coffee shops, Cafe Postal for a drink. Incorporating some of your favourite date spots, or hangouts into the day is always a fun idea. You can look back on the photos and not only remember your wedding day, but all the dates you had up until then and the many to come in the future.
In true Covid wedding style, we had an incredibly intimate outdoor ceremony at the park. With 10 guests in attendance and others watching from their vehicles or attending via live stream, Dan and Deborah shared their vows. We still incorporated a few traditional elements like cake cutting. Flower and Flour made a gorgeous rose flower-filled cake, it was truly one of a kind. We followed that with a picnic lunch catered by Bergmans on Lombard. It was truly a special afternoon.
Thank you to all our amazing vendors who pivoted, planned, and re-planned alongside us. We appreciated your patience and encouragement along the way as we navigated this new normal of Covid weddings. We couldn’t have done it without you!
