Winter Wedding Winnipeg
Alexis and Joel came to me for design and planning assistance. In just a few months we put together the perfect “bohemian meets winter” themed wedding at St.Boniface Golf Course. We pulled out all the stops and made sure no detail was left untouched. We put personal touches everywhere we could to reflect Alexis and Joel’s style.
We started with detailed stationery to set the tone of our minimal bohemian winter event. We found this gorgeous suite on Etsy along with these gorgeous geometric cutouts that were used as the couple’s place cards for dinner.
From the stunning bridal gown to the flowy bridesmaids’ dresses and bouquets, these girls looked flawless. The blue tone was the perfect colour for this winter wedding.
The entire winter wedding took place at St.Boniface Golf Course. We had a gorgeous ceremony followed by a cocktail hour in the foyer while the team flipped the room for dinner service. With all hands on deck, we made an incredible transformation from ceremony to reception. Guests were truly wowed by how it all came together in such a short amount of time.
For this design, we decided to make the most of the space by having a mix of round and harvest style seating. We brought in Chiavari chairs, specialty linens and string lights to add to the already beautiful venue. We chose a mix of light and dark linens to complement the pop of red in the flowers and gold accent decor.
We hired Melanie for style and design, as well as month of/day of coordination, for our wedding at St.Boniface Golf Course. She was amazing to work with, and so professional. She really knows the wedding business. We could not be happier with the services she provided. She made our dream wedding a reality, and we had nothing to worry about on our wedding day, knowing she and her assistant Kristen had everything under control. Thanks Melanie!
