Grand Italian Reception in Winnipeg

The legendary Fort Garry Hotel played host to a grand Italian reception in Winnipeg, the second act of a two-day love story. An intimate ceremony kicked off the wedding celebrations the day prior, and this reception was a celebration in refined extravagance, a testament to the couple’s impeccable taste and love for timeless beauty.

Jennifer and Enrique were a Full Planning couple who dreamed of a high-end, luxurious reception. We transformed the Fort Garry Hotel Provencher ballroom into a monochrome dream. A striking black-and-white palette, with shimmering silver accents, created an atmosphere of sophisticated drama. White floral arrangements with lush greenery provided a soft, organic contrast to the stark colour scheme.

Silk bow accents adorned the backs of the chairs, adding a touch of romantic whimsy to the formal setting. Branding significantly enhanced the wedding’s overall experience. The couple’s custom crest, a delicate intertwining of their initials, served as a unifying motif, appearing on everything from the invitations to the chic bar signage, podiums, and even the personalized napkins. Every detail was thoughtfully planned to create a cohesive, luxurious aesthetic.

The culinary experience was nothing short of spectacular. A personal chef presented a traditional Italian millefoglie cake, a theatrical moment for guests to enjoy. Alongside this was a decadent array of other desserts tempting guests, and we finished it off with a beautiful champagne tower that added a touch of old-world glamour.

The overall effect of the wedding was one of understated opulence. Simple yet undeniably extravagant, the reception perfectly embodied classic Italian elegance. It was a timeless celebration that will be remembered for its luxury, class, and refined sophistication.
