Here are our top 7 Manitoba rural wedding venues in no particular order that we have had the pleasure of working with! We want to provide you with a brief description, the location, and the capacity of each of these venues so you can do further research to find the one that is right for you!
1. Whitetail Meadow
The Picture and Poet
This 4 season venue is ready for you from a roaring fireplace in winter to a canopy of trees in the summer you get access to the grounds from the start to finish of your big day! They have 26 acres of natural prairie beauty located 20 minutes South of Winnipeg, on the corner of St Mary’s Rd and Hwy 311. Whitetail Meadow has a capacity of 300-320 people.
2. Ashgrove Acres

Lush, beautiful and natural the Acres has the perfect country charm with a large open green space. It also has a spacious and airy venue with tailored draping and majestic chandeliers with signature rustic excellence. Ashgrove Acres is located in Niverville, Manitoba just 25 minutes South of Winnipeg on Hwy 305 and has a capacity of 250-300 people!
3. The White Poplar

A 3 season fresh, fun & modern property! With 70 acres of treed land with trails cut through and a 10 acre clearing with a pond it truly provides a beautiful backdrop to any wedding! It is a secluded property giving privacy and prairie ambiance located at the corner of Hwy 59 and Rd 81N in the RM of St Clements. This venue is only a 10 minute drive from Selkirk and 20 minutes North of Winnipeg. The White Poplar has a capacity of 200 people.
4. Starlit Point

This outdoor wedding venue has never-ending farmland and open sky with a transparent tent! The tent features a high ceiling with romantic drapery, twinkle lighting and modern chandeliers and is furnished with harvest tables and cross-back chairs! This venue is 25 minutes South of Winnipeg with a capacity of 160 people.
5. Hawthorn Estates

This all season venue combines rustic charm and contemporary amenities! They have a unique 6,000 square foot carriage-style barn and five acre property which makes the possibilities endless. Located just 25 minutes North of Winnipeg! Hawthorn Estates has both indoor and outdoor spaces with a capacity of 150-160 people.
6. Kinloch Grove

This venue has a 3200 sq ft tent surrounded by 76 acres of diverse prairie landscape. The ceremony location is a tranquil area with white benches and nature views, there is also an on site chalet for getting ready, and a kitchen prep tent! Located in Matlock, Manitoba this venue is within walking distance from Lake Winnipeg! Kinloch Grove has a capacity of 150 people.
7. Lily Stone Gardens

Finally, last but certainly not least, is the brand new opened in 2022 Lily Stone Gardens! In addition to their shop and flower farm they now have a 3 season venue located right on the farm. Their unique facility offers a blank space for an incredibly romantic garden inspired wedding. They also have the most gorgeous courtyard space for cocktail hour and way into the evening hours. Located just outside of Rosenort, Manitoba this venue is 40 minutes South of Winnipeg with a capacity of 150-185 people.
These rural venues are all amazing options and there are plenty more. Other great venues or ones that we haven’t had the chance to work with are Greenview Paradise, The Rustic Wedding Barn, The Evergreen Village, Bella’s Castle, Oakland Estate, Deer Meadow Farms, La Lune Event Venue, Rivers Edge Resort, Wild Skies Resort, Niverville Heritage Center, The Gables Wedding Barn, and Willow Grove Orchard.
