Canadian Museum for Human Rights

This is the perfect venue for larger weddings. It features dramatic high ceilings and a wide open floor space in the main hall. Giving you lots of space to transform the space and make it your own. Concrete and glass ramps wrap around the hall, which transitions up to the Stuart Clark Garden of Contemplation. It is the perfect space for cocktail hour. Guests are then able to walk down all the ramps and get a beautiful overhead few of your reception space. It really gives you a WOW factor for your events.
Winnipeg Art Gallery – Qaumajuq

The Winnipeg Art Gallery is another beautiful and unique wedding venue. It features 4 different levels, including the breathtaking Rooftop Sculpture Garden that overlooks Winnipeg’s skyline. It is the perfect backdrop for your ceremony or cocktail hour. The Main Hall features high ceilings and a backdrop of Manitoban Tyndall stone. It gives couples a blank space to create the reception of their dream, with so many different room layout options.
Gusto North – True North Square

It also provides a unique look and feel, as the restaurant already features unique seating options as well as decor. Your cocktail hour can be held at the Mottola Grocery or on the rooftop Gusto North patio, which overlooks the city. The rooftop is also a great option for your ceremony space. You also get delicious Italian food, which is always a plus!
The Pavilion – Assiniboine Park

The Pavilion is another great space for a more intimate wedding. It is one of Winnipeg’s most well-known landmarks. This space is full of old-world elegance and charm and offers beautiful views of Assiniboine Park. The Pavilion features a gorgeous exterior patio for summer, which is perfect for an outdoor ceremony or cocktail hour. What we love most about this venue is how bright and airy the reception space is. All the light from the windows makes the space feel so special.
Fort Garry Hotel

This is a classic wedding venue in Winnipeg. Although it’s not a unique venue, the space offers an elegant and timeless feel for your wedding. Impress your guests with the Victorian elegance of this hotel. Featuring three different ballrooms for your event to be held in. You can also rent out the entire 7th floor and hold your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in one space. Allowing for a great flow for the evening. Holding your event at a hotel is great for the guest experience as they can easily book a room and really enjoy the night.
Bonus: La Cathedrale St. Boniface

We hosted the St Boniface Hospital Rosé Soirée at this location and were absolutely in love with this venue. It is a stunning backdrop for any event or wedding photos. The ruins overlook the amazing downtown Winnipeg skyline, which looks amazing at sunset! This is an outdoor location, which means it is perfect for a Spring, Summer, or Fall wedding.
