Winnipeg backyard tent wedding
As the saying goes, anything worth doing isn’t easy…. planning a Winnipeg backyard tent wedding is no exception. This wedding was located at Sharilyn and Zach’s property and was truly picturesque. But it came with a lot of planning, setup, and logistical details that many don’t think of. I’m so grateful that I was able to guide them through it all and be there for the setup days to ensure it all went according to plan!
From a first look reaction that I will never forget, to a gorgeous Jewish ceremony at the synagogue followed by food, wine and a party that the guests will forever remember…. it was literally a perfect day!
The couple had a private ketubah signing earlier in the day with their immediate family and then invited all their friends and family to join in at the ceremony. Following the ceremony the wedding party stopped off at their favourite spot, Dairy Whip, to enjoy some burgers and fries before photos…. Don’t worry, no ketchup was spilled on the dress!
When it came to the design Sharilyn and Zach wanted an all-white and greenery-filled tent. The entire space looked incredible. With a clear top tent, string lights and pops of green throughout, this wedding was straight out of a magazine. So many gorgeous details were included and we loved the use of plants and greenery instead of flowers.
True to tradition the night kicked off with the hoorah, and the party never stopped after that! The weeks and months of preparation and work that went into this celebration was 100% worth it in the end! These two got the dream wedding they deserve!
